Standard Test Method for Gum Content in Fuels by Jet Evaporation
This Uganda Standard covers the determination of the ethanol content of hydrocarbon blends containing greater than 20?% ethanol. This method is applicable to denatured fuel ethanol, ethanol fuel blends, and mid-level ethanol blends. (This standard cancels and replaces US 1748:2017, Standard Test Method for Gum Content in Fuels by Jet Evaporation, which has been technically revised). (This standard is an adoption of ASTM D381- 19 Standard Test Method for Gum Content in Fuels by Jet Evaporation). This standard was published on 15 June 2021.
